Our Engineering Facility.
At The Spitfire Company (Biggin Hill) Limited, we are an approved CAA maintenance facility for vintage World War Two aircraft, including the Supermarine Spitfire. Our A8-24 Approval allows us to carry out maintenance on a selection of single piston engine aircraft, such as changing components, maintenance from unserviceability of the aircraft and occasional maintenance.
Our Maintenance for your vintage Warbird can include; annual maintenance, diagnosing and repairs, fabrication of parts. We also have spares parts onsite, which can be readily available when needed. We have an impeccable record for serviceability of all aircraft we maintain.
We also have extensive experience in the worldwide import of vintage types to the UK encompassing all aspects from pre-purchase inspections through to shipping, import, reassembly and certification.

Military Aviation Authority MRP-145 Approval
We hold A8-24 (M2) approval which permits us to maintain single engined aircraft below 5700kg MTOW. We also hold A8-25(C5) approval to manage the continuing airworthiness of these aircraft.
Our current Organisational privileges permit us to restore All marks of Spitfire, Hawker Hurricane, Messerschmitt Bf 109, North American T6 Texan / Harvard, Noorduyn Aviation Ltd AT-16 Harvard II Bouchon and North American P51D Mustang aircraft and Engines.
We also carry out day to day aircraft maintenance to ensure your aircraft is maintained in tip-top reliable
