Restoration
SCBH has been restoring Spitfires since our conception in 2011, from our first Spitfire a Mk1 X4650.
Our restoration department has steadily grown over the years and is now housed within our hangars 204/205 at ex WWII fighter airfield Biggin Hill. We hold the appropriate approvals undertake assessments and provide reports to the CAA on the aircraft design/build standard for the initial issue of a Permit to Fly for aircraft of military origin in accordance with our A8-25 approval.
